I started a series of paintings a while ago based on the poem "The Marshes of Glynn" by Sidney Lanier. My parents were married, I was born and married, and many vacations spent in Glynn County Ga. surrounded and influenced by the marshes, sunrises and sunsets, waterbirds, oaks, moss and palms, and shrimpboats. It is a place of breathtaking beauty and close to my heart.
