Pastel Studies
The earlier posts are all pastel studies, painted on wallis sanded paper, 8x10 matted to 16x20. I love pastels for their velvet texture and incredible colors. I like to paint in oils using the pastels for reference.

We have beautiful marshes in Ct., especially in the fall when the grasses complement the trees.
